HOLY FAMILY
RETREAT CENTER
HISTORY
Holy Family Retreat Center is a ministry of the priests and brothers of the Congregation of the Mother of the Redeemer, a religious community currently residing in Carthage, Missouri. This community has been established there since 1975 and has remained devoted to serving the Church through a life of prayer, spiritual formation, and pastoral ministry.
With the desire to respond to the spiritual needs of Catholics in the Fort Worth area, the community purchased land in Fort Worth, Texas, to build a retreat center where individuals, families, and groups can come to rest, pray, and encounter God more deeply. Holy Family Retreat Center exists as a peaceful, faith-filled space for retreats, spiritual renewal, and the fellowship of the religious community.
HOLY FAMILY
Holy Family Retreat Center takes the Holy Family - Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Saint Joseph - as the model and foundation of its life and mission. The life of the Holy Family always reflects a spirit of prayer, love, humility, unity, and trust in God. These values are at the heart of everything that takes place at the center.
For this reason, Holy Family Retreat Center hopes to be a place of peace where each person can step away from the busyness of daily life, rediscover silence, deepen their life of faith, and draw spiritual strength. Following the example of the Holy Family, the Center seeks to foster an atmosphere of welcome, prayer, simplicity, and love, so that individuals, families, and groups who come here may all have the opportunity to be renewed and grow in God.
