HOLY FAMILY

RETREAT CENTER

HISTORY

The Holy Family Retreat Center is a ministry of the priests and religious of the Province of the Mother of the Redeemer Congregation, with its main headquarters in Carthage, Missouri. From 1975 to the present, the religious community has been dedicated to serving the Church through a life of prayer, spiritual formation, and pastoral ministry.

With the desire to respond to the spiritual needs of Catholics in the Fort Worth area, the Province purchased land in Fort Worth, Texas and built a retreat center so that individuals, families, and groups could come to rest, pray, and encounter God more deeply. The Holy Family Retreat Center stands as a place of peace, enriched with faith, spiritual renewal, and the communion of the religious congregation

HOLY FAMILY

The Retreat Center takes the Holy Family - Jesus Christ, the Blessed Virgin Mary, and Saint Joseph—as the model and foundation for its life and mission. The life of the Holy Family reflects a spirit of prayer, love, humility, unity, and trust in God. These values serve as the guiding center of all activities at the retreat center.

Therefore, the Retreat Center seeks to be a place of peace where each person can step away from the busyness of daily life to rediscover silence, deepen their faith, and draw spiritual strength. Following the example of the Holy Family, the Center aims to foster an atmosphere of welcome, prayer, simplicity, and love, so that individuals, families, and groups who come here may have the opportunity to be renewed and grow in the Lord.
